Your story

before the first guest arrives.

DOT works with event locations and venues that understand the experience is the brand and that video is how you communicate it before anyone sets foot inside. This page has our most relevant work and one thought on what venue video actually needs to do.

Why I think venues have a story worth telling

This is a short, personal message from Tijmen; not a sales pitch, just a genuine take on what trends we see in your industry and one idea we'd love to explore together.

Our idea for you

The best venue video doesn't show the space. It shows what happens in it.

Empty rooms with good lighting are forgettable. The right lighting with the right crowd, at the right moment, with the right sound; that's what sells a venue. People don't book a location. They book a feeling. The brief for great venue video is not 'show the capacity and the facilities.' It's 'show the moment a guest or client realises this is exactly right.' At DOT we understand the event world as we've worked with venues like AFAS Live and understand that the production quality of your video directly signals the quality of the experience you deliver. Your clients are making decisions based on what they see.
