Following a total brand overhaul, Dutch cocktail innovator ShakaCan faced a classic strategic dilemma. They had successfully engineered a premium, "Ready-to-Shake" canned cocktail, but their visual library was a clean slate.
In the high-stakes world of retail and D2C, a brand is only as credible as its last touchpoint. ShakaCan needed to populate a new webshop, launch a multi-channel social presence, and arm their sales team with high-authority internal comms. The hurdle? They needed "Big Agency" cinematic quality, but they were operating on a lean startup marketing budget that didn't allow for months of fragmented production.

At DOT, we recognized that ShakaCan didn't just need "a video", they needed a Visual Foundation. The insight was simple: in a crowded market, authority is built through consistency and range. To make a startup feel like an established market leader, the content had to prove the product worked in every scenario, from the high-energy party to the quiet, sophisticated home bar.
We realized that by focusing on Creative Agility, the ability to pivot themes and moods within a single, high-intensity production window, we could provide the brand with a year’s worth of authority in just 48 hours. We pivoted from a single commercial mindset to an Asset Harvest, capturing everything from technical How-To guides to high-concept lifestyle imagery in one coordinated effort.

We executed a two-day, high-intensity production designed to yield a diverse ecosystem of photography and videography. The work was divided into four distinct strategic layers:

The result was a total transformation of Shakacan’s digital footprint. The assets didn't just sit on a hard drive; they became the primary engine for the brand's rapid growth.
"DOT was willing to help us get quality creatives without blowing up our marketing budget. The team was highly adaptable and efficient, while the shoots were comprehensive and we reshot until we were satisfied."— The Shakacan Team
