The film
The experience film. A second film covers the FPV drone tour.
The problem with an empty room
A venue is a box until it is full. Photographed empty it looks clean, symmetrical and completely interchangeable with every other arena in Europe.
What AFAS Live actually sells is a night: the sound, the crowd, the moment a room of that size behaves as one thing. None of that exists in an empty building, which means none of it can be shot on a quiet Tuesday when access is easy.
So film it full
The decision was to shoot at capacity, with a live audience, during real events. That trades every convenience away. There is no repositioning a light once doors are open, no second take of a crowd reaction, and no stopping a show to reset.
In return you get the only thing worth having, which is footage where the atmosphere is genuinely present rather than implied.
Two films, two jobs
The experience film is the emotional one. Short, cut to the energy of a full room, built to work on a feed where it has seconds to make a case.
The FPV drone tour does the opposite job. It moves continuously through the venue, so scale reads as one unbroken piece of information rather than a series of wide shots a viewer has to assemble themselves. For a space this size that is the difference between knowing it is big and feeling it.
Filming around an event rather than in place of one
Working at capacity turns the production into a logistics problem. Positions are agreed in advance because they cannot be changed later, and every setup has to survive a crowd moving through it.
The FPV work adds the harder constraint. Flying inside an occupied venue means the route is planned and rehearsed before a single person is in the building, and then flown once, cleanly, with people underneath it.

Frequently asked questions
Who produced the AFAS Live venue films?
DOT Video Agency produced the AFAS Live experience film and the FPV drone tour of the venue, both shot at capacity during real events rather than in an empty arena.
Why film a venue full rather than empty?
Because an empty arena is interchangeable with every other arena in Europe. What a venue sells is the night, and that only exists when the room is full, which means trading away every convenience of an empty building to get it.
What does a venue film like this cost?
A brand film from DOT runs €5.500 to €50.000. Filming during live events adds planning rather than shoot days, because positions have to be fixed before doors open. Our price bands are published for every service.
